Rolling Rotarians Rally Belton, TX
August 18 – August 21, 2005

Greetings! This is Bill and Sheila Berning, Wagon-masters for the Central Zone Rally Event in Belton, Texas on August 18-21, 2005.

The event was a huge success with a total of ten rigs attending. Actually there were 12, but two people became ill and had to drop out.
While it was a hot one in Texas, we did some cool things that made the weather insignificant!

There were visits to the Bell County Santa Fe Depot and Historic Railroad Museum, the Mayborn Planetarium and a shopping trip to Salado, a delightful artsy community where the gals got to use their visas!
We topped off the weekend with a mighty fine Hamburger cook-out at the home of Mike and Mary Pinson, with a speaker for the evening, County Attorney Rick Miller, who gave us a talk on famous gunfighters in Central Texas.

A good time was had by all in attendance! We are a great group!
The next Central Zone Rally will be in Wimberly, Texas in November, 2005. Y'all come now!!!
