Bill Bumpus, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2025.

Bill grew up in Newark, NY, but moved to Texas to attend the University of Houston. Soon he moved to Galveston to begin a career in data processing. In 1972, he married Patricia (Pat) Jones and became a loving father to her daughter Robin Jones and son George (Butch) Jones. They loved RVing, starting out in a VW camper van and gradually increasing the RV sizes to 40 feet by the time the “kids” had families of their own.
